Netscape Intro |
Netscape News Center - Raleigh, N.C. has a love affair going with Dr. King. This friendly,
southern town has the Nationally Acclaimed Martin Luther King, Jr. All-Children's Choir, the
"Award Winning" Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Gardens, the Martin Luther King, Jr.
Water Monument, The Annual MLK Youth Philharmonic Orchestra Concert, and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Reconciliation Resource Center. When
visiting Raleigh don’t forget to cruise down Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard.
The Raleigh MLK group is an organization which has a daily presence in serving the
community. The legacy of Dr. King is very much evident in the Capitol City of North
Carolina. It's presence on the World Wide Web is also quite impressive and reflects the
diversity, creativity and commitment of it's members. Anyone in Raleigh-Durham can join the King Committee
who appreciates and adheres to the principles of equality.
Now go out and celebrate! Celebrations will be held at the Martin Luther King Memorial
Gardens, Exploris Museum, Sheraton Imperial Hotel, Bicentennial Plaza, Raleigh Memorial
Auditorium, BTI Center For The Performing Arts, State Capitol Building and other venues. Arguably, Raleigh can lay claim to
having a more multicultural variety of King Holiday events than any mid-sized city in
America. For info on those events sponsored by the Raleigh King Committee, go to
www.king-raleigh.org and see the variety.
Netscape gives this group Four Stars * * * * |
