Raleigh, NC -- The Raleigh based Martin Luther King, Jr. All-Children's Choir will be performing in concert with the newly assembled Triangle Youth Jazz Ensemble for a sensational celebration of soul, gospel and jazz music, Sunday, January 18th, 4:00 PM. Meymandi Concert Hall, Progress Energy Center For The Performing Arts. The Choir's special guest will be National Recording Artist Angela Spivey from Chicago and National Recording Artist Bruce Parham from Philadelphia.

The backdrop setting for the performance will be Raleigh Memorial Auditorium, anchor venue of the Progress Energy Center For The Performing Arts. The Auditorium is endowed with a central twin floating staircase and 14 Doric Columns, state of the art intricate sound and lighting systems and 2,227 luxurious wide-bearth seats.

This sixth annual benefit concert featuring the MLK Children's Choir is being sponsored by Radio One Raleigh, Foxy 107/104, The Light 103.9, Capitol Broadcasting Company, North Carolina Mutual Insurance Company, Embarq Media, News & Observer Publishing Company, WRAL-TV, FOX 50-TV in conjunction with the Raleigh Martin Luther King Celebration Committee.

Advance ticket prices are $15 for General Admission; $12.00 for group rate for 10 or more people. Tickets on the day of the concert will be $20.00 at the door. All seats are general admission.
