The Raleigh-Wake Martin Luther King Committee's Donation & Financial Support Plans

There are six (6) distinct areas of work undertaken by the MLK Committee.

Please click on the PROGRAMS button above to view details about a particular program.

The Committee is a totally volunteer organization, with no paid employees or directors, with ongoing programs of local, regional and national interest. Unless we buy into the theory that racism, apathy and indifference will dissipate through the evolution of integration, we simply must develop a systematic approach to addressing the chronic problems of inequality and social deprivation. Doing so takes hard work and commitment on all of our parts, and whatever resources, including financial resources, that each and every one of us can help provide.

The work of the King Committee depends exclusively on the support of individuals, Faith & Civic organizations, and businesses, corporations & foundations. We humbly ask that you consider helping by making a pledge and forwarding a contribution of any amount, however much or little you can to help meet a vision we all share. All contributions are tax-deductible. Our IRS Federal Tax ID Number is: 58-1837950.
